Net Profit Of The Banking Sector In January Becomed 3,21 Billion TL
The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) published the Interactive Monthly Bulletin of the Turkish Banking Sector.

According to the data reported to banks by banks; In January 2019, the Turkish Banking Sector's total assets amounted to TL 3.860.881 million. Total assets of the sector decreased by 6.555 million TL (0.2%) compared to 2018 year-end. January 2019 period
loans with large assets are TL 2.377.412 million and securities are TL 495.545 million.
Compared to the end of 2018, the sector's total securities portfolio increased by 3.7%, while its total assets decreased by 0.2% and total loans decreased by 0.7%. In this period, the NPL ratio of loans was 4.0%.
In the resources of the banks, the deposit, which is the largest source of funds, increased by 0.6% compared to the end of 2018 and reached TL 2,047,933 million.
While the total shareholders' equity increased by 0.9% to TL 425,714 million compared to the end of 2018, the net profit for the period was 3.208 million TL and the capital adequacy standard ratio was 17.1% in January 2019 period.
